TJ Illmensee – OPEX CRE Management

Leadership

Thomas Illmensee is responsible for business development and strategic growth initiatives for OPEX CRE Management. He focuses on identifying new opportunities, expanding client partnerships, and delivering solutions that support the needs of commercial real estate owners, investors, and occupiers.

Prior to joining OPEX, Thomas was an Account Executive at CoStar Group, where he advised commercial real estate owners, investors, brokers, developers, and property managers on leveraging industry-leading data, analytics, and marketing platforms. During his tenure, he generated significant revenue growth and earned recognition as a top-performing sales professional.

Prior to CoStar, Thomas spent more than eight years as a commercial real estate broker with Savills, specializing in tenant representation throughout the New York and New Jersey markets. He advised companies ranging from startups to established organizations on office leasing strategy, site selection, lease negotiations, and occupancy planning.

Thomas graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts. He is an active supporter of Covenant House, New York, where he has participated in fundraising and workforce development initiatives for more than a decade. Thomas resides in Red Bank, New Jersey.
