Leena Daniel, CPA – OPEX CRE Management

Leadership

Leena Daniel brings over 15 years of real estate accounting and finance expertise to OPEX CRE Management. She is responsible for overseeing the financial management, reporting, and treasury operations of commercial, residential, and mixed-use portfolios throughout the company.

Prior to joining OPEX, Leena served as Senior Vice President of Finance at multiple real estate firms, where she oversaw accounting, financial reporting, and treasury operations for a portfolio of Class A commercial office assets. In these roles, she led the transition of treasury functions, modernized budgeting and forecasting through the MRI accounting platform, managed investor and lender reporting and directed tax review for portfolios of over 70 partnerships.

Her career began at Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP, spending nearly twelve years in the firm’s Real Estate Group and rising to Senior Manager. There, she managed engagements for more than 150 real estate entities, reviewed over 200 tax returns, and identified tax strategies that generated more than $10 million in benefits for client portfolios.

Leena is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in New York State. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Cum Laude, from Binghamton University, School of Management. Leena resides in New York City.
